Duncan has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, most of which has been in senior leadership positions. He is currently the Chairman of the Board for Ukrnafta PJSC. Duncan is a skilled C-level executive with extensive global exposure to all oil and gas operations. He has a track record of successfully constructing and implementing profitable capital programs and optimizing integrated change across all areas of operations. His experience spans light and heavy oil and gas production, field developments and exploration programs implemented in complex operating environments such as Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He also is experienced in crude oil storage, transportation, and gas to power.
Duncan is skilled in the application of low-cost solutions, developing practices to attain improvements in efficiency, well productivity and field life extension. He has a demonstrable history of developing high performance teams with a strong HSE and ESG governance culture. He has a proven ability for implementing corporate re-structuring, developing operating models, completing asset acquisitions, spearheading complex multi-disciplinary development projects, and increasing shareholder returns. Duncan has extensive experience with capital markets and has served on multiple Boards and led special supervisory committee study groups. Duncan’s recent senior leadership roles include CEO for Blacksteel Energy, Canada, V.P.
