Elias Gedeon is Senior Vice-President of Commercial Operations within the Energy Systems division at Westinghouse Electric Company.Gedeon has more than 40 years ofexperience in the power generationindustry and has held various sales,operations and P&L leadership positions inthe U.S. and internationally.Prior to joining Westinghouse in August2020, he served as Senior Vice-Presidentand Chief Business Development Officerfor Babcock & Wilcox (B&W).
From 2009to 2014, he was Alstom Power BoilerGroup’s Vice President of Global Sales andMarketing, and Alstom Power’s Vice-President of Sales (Americas) from 2003-2009.From 1981 to 2002, Gedeon held a number ofpositions of increasing responsibility at FosterWheeler Power Group and its subsidiaries,including Executive Vice-President of GlobalSales and Marketing; and Vice-PresidentOperations, Foster Wheeler Energia, S.A.Spain. He began his professional career as aservice engineer with Foster Wheeler Energy in1981 and has worked and lived in manycountries.Gedeon holds a bachelor’s degree inengineering from Stevens Institute ofTechnology and an Executive MBA from theUniversity of Michigan.
