Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration
Oleksandr Prokudin has over 22 years of professional experience, with more than 18 years dedicated to public service in Ukraine. He currently serves as the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a role he has held since February 2022. In this capacity, Oleksandr is at the forefront of efforts to ensure the safety, recovery, and development of the Kherson region during a time of significant national and regional challenges. A graduate of the Kherson Legal Institute of the National University of Internal Affairs, Oleksandr specialized in law enforcement activities and earned qualifications as a lawyer. He later expanded his expertise by studying accounting and audit at Mykolaiv State Agrarian University and earning another law degree with a focus on management in law enforcement from the National Academy of Internal Affairs. He also holds a Candidate of Legal Sciences degree, reflecting his commitment to advancing legal and administrative knowledge.
Oleksandr’s career began in law enforcement, where he held a series of progressively senior roles within the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police in Kherson Region. These included positions in professional training, personnel support, and ultimately, as the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson Region. Throughout this time, he demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to modernizing law enforcement practices to better serve communities.
In February 2022, Oleksandr was appointed Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. Under his leadership, the administration has focused on strengthening regional security, supporting communities, and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at rebuilding and advancing the region. With his extensive experience, academic credentials, and dedication to public service, Oleksandr Prokudin continues to play a critical role in Ukraine’s path to resilience and recovery.
